"On Thursday, World Vision will rush 18 metric tons of lifesaving supplies from its warehouse in Denver to Haiti, which was hit by a 7.0-magnitude earthquake Tuesday that affected some 3 million people. These supplies and others already pre-positioned will help meet the immediate survival needs of those affected by the quake until rebuilding efforts can begin.

Two ways you can help:
1. Please keep in prayer the children, families, and communities left devastated by this disaster in Haiti. Pray also for God's protection and guidance upon those who are responding with emergency assistance.

2. Donate now to World Vision's Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund. Your gift will help our staff members rush emergency assistance to those in greatest need following the disaster -- like food, clean water, blankets, tents, and more. "

Thanks for info on this and encouraging others to get involved. This is a unimaginable tragedy and it will take us all getting involved to make a difference. I am hoping to donate to Samaritan's Purse, another organization with integrity that is helping with water, shelter, and non food supplies.
